What I Do & Why I Do It
Ownership Is the
Only Path Forward
"Michael's approach is direct, structured, and grounded in real experience. He doesn't just coach you - he challenges you to own every part of how you think and act."
- Coaching Client
I coach high-functioning individuals to take ownership of their thoughts, emotions, and actions so they can build a stable, resilient, and intentional life.
I do this because I've lived the alternative - reacting, spiraling, and feeling out of control. I know firsthand that stability isn't something you're given; it's something you build.
My work is about helping people stop being driven by their reactions and start making decisions from a place of clarity and ownership.
What This Is
This Is Not Therapy
This is behavior-based transformation. No diagnoses. No endless exploration of the past.
This is about ownership. About building consistency in the way you think, decide, and act, every single day.
If you are looking for someone to tell you what you want to hear, this is not the right fit. If you are ready to take full responsibility for your life and do the work to change it, keep reading.
High-functioning feeling stuck
You're achieving on paper but feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or like you're running on empty inside.
Capable people repeating patterns
You know you're capable of more, but keep hitting the same walls - same reactions, same results, same frustration.
Professionals under pressure
Dealing with anxiety, chronic stress, or instability that keeps undermining your performance and relationships.
Ready to take ownership
You're done making excuses and genuinely ready to take full responsibility for your thoughts, actions, and direction.

The Problem
You know what to do. You are not doing it.
Most people with bipolar disorder are not lacking information. They have the diagnoses, the strategies, and the self-awareness. The problem is the gap between knowing and doing.
1
You know you need structure, but the moment things feel good, you abandon your routines and end up back at zero.
2
You go through cycles of stability and chaos, and no matter how many times you recover, the next spiral seems inevitable.
3
Your emotional reactions drive your decisions, and those decisions keep costing you, in relationships, in work, in trust.
4
You make commitments to yourself and break them, and the guilt from that becomes its own source of instability.

The Reality
Insight alone does not create stability.
Understanding your patterns is not enough. Medication manages chemistry, not behavior. Awareness without action is just more frustration.
The hard truth is that no one is coming to build your stability for you. Not your therapist, not your psychiatrist, and not your support system. At some point, you have to decide to do the work, and then you have to actually do it.
Insight Without Action
You can understand every trigger, every pattern, every origin story, and still repeat the same cycle the next day.
Instability Has a Cost
Broken commitments, damaged trust, missed opportunities, and a life spent recovering instead of building.
Medication Without Consistency
Medication creates a foundation. It does not build your routines, manage your reactions, or make your decisions for you.
Crisis-Driven Decisions
When you are reactive, you are not leading your life. You are responding to it, and everyone around you feels that.

The Program
A Structured 20-Week Process to Build Stability Through Behavior
This is not a loose coaching arrangement. It is a system, built to move you from reactive to intentional, one week at a time.
10 Biweekly 1:1 Sessions
Structured, focused sessions designed to build on each other over 20 weeks.
Decision-Making Under Pressure
Learn to pause, assess, and choose, even when emotions are running high.
Real-Life Application
Between sessions, you apply what you learn to your actual daily life, not hypotheticals.
Emotional Regulation and Follow-Through
Build the discipline to act on your commitments, not your impulses.
How It Works
Three phases. One direction.
The 20 weeks are not random. Each phase builds on the last. You do not skip ahead. You do the work in sequence, because that is how lasting change is built.
1
Phase One: Ownership
-
Identify the patterns driving your instability, without judgment, with clarity.
-
Learn to separate how you feel from what you do. Feelings are not instructions.
-
Begin taking responsibility for your actions and their impact, fully and without excuses.
2
Phase Two: Stability
-
Build the daily routines that create a stable baseline, regardless of mood state.
-
Reduce reactivity by building the pause between stimulus and response.
-
Increase consistency across commitments, not just when you feel motivated.
3
Phase Three: Reinforcement
-
Lock in the behaviors you have built so they hold under pressure and disruption.
-
Develop a personal framework for handling setbacks without derailing your progress.
-
Build the independence to maintain stability long after the program ends.
What Changes
Specific shifts. Not aspirations.
These are not things you will hope for. These are the outcomes clients experience when they do the work in this program.
Follow Through on Commitments
You say what you will do and then you do it, without needing motivation, energy, or the right mood.
Build Consistent Structure
You have a daily framework that holds when things get hard, not just when everything is going well.
Take Ownership Without Spiraling
You take full responsibility for your actions without using self-blame as another form of avoidance.
Reduce Emotional Reactivity
You respond to situations instead of reacting to them. Your decisions come from choice, not from feeling.
Stop Destructive Cycles
You recognize the patterns before they complete and interrupt them with a different choice.
Long-Term Independence
You leave the program with a personal system, not a dependency. The stability is yours to keep.

Who This Is For
This program is specific by design.
Not everyone is ready for this. That is not a judgment. It is a fact. This program requires a specific kind of commitment, and it only works for people who meet it.
This is for you if
-
You are caught in instability cycles and want to break them for good.
-
You know what you should do but keep failing to follow through.
-
You are ready to take full responsibility for your thoughts, actions, and direction.
-
You want a structured system, not open-ended reflection.
-
You are willing to be challenged, not just supported.
This is not for you if
-
You are looking for therapy or clinical mental health treatment.
-
You want to be fixed by someone else without doing the work yourself.
-
You are unwilling to take ownership of your patterns and behavior.
-
You want validation more than you want change.
-
You are in active crisis and need immediate clinical support.

The Commitment
Twenty weeks. Full ownership. No shortcuts.
This is a serious commitment, and that is the point. Stability is not built in a weekend workshop or a few inspiring conversations. It is built over months of consistent, deliberate action.
What you are committing to is not just showing up to sessions. You are committing to changing your daily actions, not just your thinking. The sessions are the map. Your life between them is where you actually travel.
"The only thing that will change your life is changing what you do every day. That is what this program is built around."
